India has huge potential for both onshore and offshore wind power, however regulatory bottlenecks have slowed down market development in recent years. This session will discuss the current market status and outlook of wind power in India, and what needs to still be done in order for India to achieve its ambitious renewable energy targets. We will also discuss plans to develop India’s renewable energy manufacturing capacity, and how this will be an important driver of jobs and investment to drive economic recovery from the COVID-19 crisis and how India can tap into this potential.
